Refund Policy

Last updated September 3, 2026

By purchasing a paid plan you also accept this policy. Plans are sold by Plak Teknoloji Danışmanlık A.Ş. (Istanbul, Turkey), which operates ReTransfer. This policy runs in tandem with our Terms of Use and any statutory rights you have where you live.

14-day refund window

Any paid plan can be refunded within 14 days of the first charge — full amount, to the original payment method. The free trial does not consume this window: it starts when you are actually billed. No long questionnaires; we just want to know it didn't work out so we can fix what we can.

What qualifies

  • The service didn't work as described or was unavailable for an extended period.
  • Accidental purchase, duplicate charge, or unintended renewal.
  • You couldn't get the value you expected within the first 14 days.
  • Annual plan canceled within 14 days of the charge.

What doesn't qualify

  • Requests received after the 14-day window.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Use (unlawful content, abuse, fraud).
  • Custom enterprise agreements — those are governed by their own contract, not this page.

How to request a refund

  1. Email billing@retransfer.one with your order ID (in your purchase receipt) or the email used at checkout.
  2. We review within 2 business days and reply with a decision.
  3. Approved refunds are executed by FastSpring within 5-10 business days; how quickly it lands depends on your card issuer or bank.

You can also request a refund directly through the "Manage Subscription" link inside the FastSpring receipt that arrived in your inbox.

About FastSpring

ReTransfer uses FastSpring (Bright Market, LLC dba FastSpring, USA) as the Merchant of Record for all paid plans. FastSpring issues the receipt, handles sales tax/VAT, and processes refunds. For invoice or tax questions FastSpring can answer directly; refund eligibility decisions stay with us.

Cancelling vs. refunding

These are different actions. Cancelling stops future renewals but leaves the current paid period in place — you keep access until it ends. Refunding returns the money for the current period; access ends when the refund is issued. If you want both, ask for both in the same email.

EU and UK consumers

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under local consumer-protection law. Our 14-day window mirrors that right and runs alongside it. Nothing here limits a statutory right that can't be waived by contract — where local law gives you longer, that longer period applies.

After a refund

Your account isn't deleted — it drops back to the free tier and your files stay subject to the storage limits of that tier. To remove your account entirely, see "Your controls" in the Privacy Policy.
